In case you are new here, below you will find:
Scripture - this is the Scripture assigned for the day
Meditating on the Word section
Digging Deeper section with some reflection (optional)
A Prayer for our husbands: one for those whose husbands proclaims Christ and one for those whose husbands do not.
A Challenge to help you with your marriage and prayer life in some manner.
Increasing In Knowledge of the Word of God
To advance the Gospel message, we must not only reflect Christ in our walks, but also increase in our knowledge of God's Word. James 1:5 says that "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God..." This same principle is applicable to us today. God does not restrain wisdom from His followers. In fact, James goes on to say in this verse that God gives it "liberally" when we ask in faith. Liberally here is another way of saying without complications, or, without holding anything back.
While most are praying for removal of an affliction, James says we should pray for wisdom to deal with those afflictions. Whether your husband is a believer in Christ or not, we should be seeking to grow in wisdom and discernment so that we may reflect Christ as His ambassadors. While we are praying for our husbands to be better and "do better," are we expecting the same from ourselves as wives?
We see Paul in Philippians 1:9 say, "this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment." This is a principle we would do well to follow too when praying for, not only our husbands, but ourselves as well.
May love abound more. 🙏🏻
Scripture

Meditating on the Word
Think about the Scriptures today. Ask the Lord to help you identify areas in which you may need to examine your own habits before your husband's. Write this verse on an index card if this will help to remind you or set an alarm on your phone to reflect and pray on these things throughout the day.
Digging Deeper
If you are inclined to dig deeper, here are some application questions based on the Scriptures for today.
1. How do verses 9-11 in Philippians 1 shape your understanding of spiritual growth and love?
2. What are the fruits of righteousness referred to in verse 11? (Look at Galatians 5:22-23 and Ephesians 5:9)
3. How does reading this change the way you need to be praying for not only your husband, but yourself and your marriage as a whole?
Prayer for My Husband Today
(For those whose husbands proclaim Christ)
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for blessing me with a husband who seeks You. Lord, I come to You again to lift my husband up in prayer today. I ask that You keep him on Your path and in Your will, Father. I ask for You to help my husband grow in knowledge and understanding in Your word. Give him the desire to immerse himself in the instructions You left for Your children and to learn from them. I ask that You give him the want to and knowledge of how to spread Your word, Father. Lord, I also ask that You help me see where I may need improving in these areas myself, that I may examine my own habits before my husband's so that I may be more gracious with him. Thank you and I love you.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Prayer, Option #2
(For those whose husbands are not in Christ)
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for blessing me with a husband loves me as much as he knows how to. Lord, I come to You again to lift my husband up in prayer today. I ask that You keep me on Your path and in Your will, Father. I ask for You to help me grow in knowledge and understanding in Your word. Give my husband the desire to have a relationship with You by helping me reflect Your goodness to him, Father. Lord, I also ask that You help me see where I may need improving in habits that cultivate my relationship with You. Help me examine my own habits before my husband's so that I may be more gracious with him. Thank you and I love you.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Challenge
Ask your husband to pray with you today, whether together or separately. I want to encourage you to ask him at some point. It is important that your husband knows you are praying for him. It really helps your husband to see the words that you are praying for him. (Firsthand experience!)
