Digging Deeper section with some reflection (optional)
A Prayer for our husbands: one for those whose husbands proclaims Christ and one for those whose husbands do not.
A Challenge to help you with your marriage and prayer life in some manner.
Health
In his letter to the church of Corinth, Paul tells them that they have been bought at a price in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Though this is specifically speaking about sexual immorality, I believe this principle applies to us on a much greater level. As Christians, we have been bought with the blood of Christ. We have been given to Christ as a gift by the Father. As Christians, we are betrothed to Christ in eternity.
Our greatest responsibility, and honor, is to love Christ with all we do and say. Paul told the believers in Corinth to glorify God in their body and in spirit. One of the most difficult things to do as a wife is self-examination in this area before we critique our husband in all the areas he is falling short. However, I want to challenge you to do just that today.
Scripture

Meditating on the Word
Think about the Scriptures today. Ask the Lord to help you recognize areas you need improvement on in regards to your own walk. Write this verse on an index card if this will help to remind you or set an alarm on your phone to reflect and pray on these things throughout the day.
Digging Deeper
If you are inclined to dig deeper, here are some application questions based on the Scripture for today.
How does the understanding of being bought with a price influence your view on stewardship of your life?
What steps can you take to cultivate an environment within your home where disputes are handled in a godly manner?
How should the fact that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit influence our decisions about physical health and care for our bodies?
Prayer for My Husband Today
(For those whose husbands proclaims Christ)
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for blessing me with my husband who goes above and beyond to take care of me. I ask that You remind me to thank him more often for this. Lord, today I want to lift my husband up to You and I ask You to wrap Your hands around him and take care of his health issues. I ask that You please take care of the health of his emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual state. Help me to remember to take care of my own health and wellbeing so that we may continue to point others to You through our marriage. Thank You and I love You.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen. 🙏🏻

Prayer, Option #2
(For those whose husbands are not in Christ)
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for blessing me with my husband who goes above and beyond to take care of me. I ask that You remind me to thank him more often for this. Lord, today I want to lift my husband up to You and I ask You to wrap Your hands around him and take care of his health issues. I ask that You please take care of the health of his emotional, mental, physical and spiritual state. Help me to remember to take care of my own health and wellbeing so that I can continue to point my husband to You. Thank You and I love You.
In Your heavenly name I pray, amen.

Challenge
Ask your husband to pray with you today, whether together or separately. I want to encourage you to ask him at some point. It is important that your husband knows you are praying for him. It really helps your husband to see the words that you are praying for him. (Firsthand experience!)
I read this allowed to my Dear Sweet Husband. Something I would recommend. We wives pray for our family, spouse’s, friends & strangers, but there is something pretty special about praying for your spouse Out Loud for Them to Hear😊💜✝️🙏🏽
